Welcome to FurEver Pawfit – Vet & Rehab! By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Please read these terms carefully. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

SERVICES

FurEver Pawfit – Vet & Rehab offers animal physio, laser therapy, and related services for animals. With over 20 years working in small animal veterinary practice we bring a wealth of veterinary experience to our consultations and rehabilitation programs.

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

​

Users are responsible for providing accurate information when creating accounts and maintaining the confidentiality of their account information. Use of our services indicates agreement with these terms.

PAYMENT AND BILLING

​

Payment for services and products is required in full at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change, and refunds are provided only in special circumstances and at the discretion of the practice principal.

REFUND POLICY

​

Requests for refunds will be reviewed on an individual basis. Refunds, if approved, will be provided minus an administration fee and financial transaction fees.

CONSENT TO TREATMENT

 

By requesting and agreeing to treatment, you provide consent for our therapists to conduct all necessary assessments and interventions appropriate to your pet’s condition. These may include, but are not limited to, physical examinations, manual therapy, mobilisations, exercise therapy, diagnostic procedures, and prescribed exercises.

You retain the right to discuss the proposed physiotherapy plan, including its nature and purpose, with your therapist prior to the commencement of treatment.

By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• You have the right to decline or discontinue any intervention at any time, seek a second opinion, and provide feedback or make a complaint.

• Physio therapies may carry certain risks, including but not limited to soreness, stiffness, soft tissue injury, neurological complications, cerebrovascular incidents, burns, and skin irritation.

• There are also risks associated with delaying or forgoing treatment, such as the development of tissue adhesions, excessive scar tissue formation, and other degenerative changes.

• The likelihood of adverse effects is minimised through thorough clinical assessment and professional judgment.

A referral is not required to attend the clinic. However, if your pet has been referred by a veterinarian or other healthcare provider, we recommend bringing any relevant documentation to ensure continuity of care.

SOCIAL MEDIA

 

FurEver Pawfit will occasionally take pictures and videos of pets during their sessions. We do so to advertise our business and appreciate your pet! If you do NOT want any photos of your pets to be posted to social media, you will have the option to opt out when signing the waiver. I understand that by allowing my dog(s) to participate in the services offered by FurEver Pawfit, I give my permission for FurEver Pawfit to take photographs, and/or videos, and to use the images or videos of my pet in printed matter, internet sites, or other promotional or advertising capacities. Photographs and videos are the property of FurEver Pawfit.

DECLARATION AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

 

I, the undersigned, certify that I am the owner or person responsible for the pet(s) brought to FurEver Pawfit. I understand that the services offered by FurEver Pawfit are not intended as a substitute for veterinary care, and consultation with your regular veterinarian is recommended for any matters relating to the health of the pet. Further, I understand that individual sessions and corresponding outcome are dependent upon the condition and age of the pet, the goals of the owner, and the pet’s emotional and behavioural condition.

 

I hereby give permission for my pet to receive treatment at FurEver Pawfit. I have given all relevant medical and behavioural history to FurEver Pawfit and believe the information given to be correct. I give permission for FurEver Pawfit to exchange information with any veterinary professionals involved in my pet's care and this may include condition, behaviour and treatment. As a client of FurEver Pawfit, I understand that my pet(s) and any person present during treatment participate at our own risk.

 

I agree to abide by all the Terms and Conditions which have been explained and discussed with me. I am aware of the inherent risks of injury, including without limitation risks due to pet bites or slips on wet flooring. The undersigned acknowledges that he or she has carefully read this agreement. I am aware of the risks and hazards inherent upon being present during animal treatments. I voluntarily assume all such risks, loss, damages, or injury that may be sustained by entering the treatment area. By signing this Assumption of Risk and using the facilities, I hereby fully and forever release and discharge FurEver Pawfit and its volunteers, employees and agents from any claims, demands, damages, rights of action or causes of action present or future, whether the same be known or unknown, anticipated, or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of my use or intended use of their treatments.

CONSENT TO OBTAIN AND RELEASE INFORMATION

We collect personal information to operate our business, provide and promote our services, and fulfil our commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. Information related to your pet’s medical condition may be shared with other relevant professionals involved in their care, such as treating practitioners, rehabilitation consultants, case managers, and employers.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you grant permission for FurEver Pawfit, including its representatives and practitioners, to obtain and share information relating to your pet’s injuries and any significant or relevant medical history with appropriate parties involved in their treatment and care.

Unless you request otherwise, we may communicate with you via email. Please note that email transmission carries inherent risks, including the possibility of unauthorised access, disclosure to unintended recipients (which could compromise confidentiality and professional privilege), and exposure to viruses. By continuing to communicate via email, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

​

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property rights—including copyright—in any materials or documents we create on your behalf remain the property of FurEver Pawfit. These documents are provided for your use in accordance with your pet’s care.

You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, or transmit these materials (including by email) without our prior written consent.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FurEver Pawfit, including its directors, employees, and contractors, shall not be liable for any injury, loss of function, damage, or other harm sustained by any person or animal arising from the provision of services, except where such injury, loss, or damage is directly attributable to a negligent act or omission by FurEver Pawfit or its representatives.

Nor is it liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or website products.

This exclusion of liability does not limit or exclude any rights, guarantees, or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, the total liability of FurEver Pawfit for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those services.

​

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with the provision of our services.

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FurEver Pawfit, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your breach of these Terms and Conditions;

• Any negligent or unlawful act or omission by you or your representatives;

• Any injury or damage caused by your pet during the course of treatment.

FurEver Pawfit reserves the right to update the terms and conditions and its privacy policy. Any changes will be posted on this page. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.

GOVERNING LAW

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
